Post Membership Procedures
Membership requirements for VFW Post 3513 are determined by the national Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. There are three primary requisites for membership in the VFW: (1) Citizenship (2) Honorable service in the armed forces of the United States and (3) Service entitling the applicant to the award of a recognized campaign medal or as set forth in the Congressional Charter and By-Laws and Manual of Procedure and Ritual. Members of VFW Post 3513 don't have to live in Arizona. Please call the Post at (480) 941-9849 to obtain an application form and discuss membership. You will need a copy of your DD-214 form in order to complete the application.
The Post helps members pursue their Veterans Administration compensation and benefits claims.
Ladies Auxiliary Membership
Membership requirements for the VFW Post 3513 Ladies Auxiliary are determined by the national office of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
Who is eligible for membership in the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW?
- Wives
- Widows
- Mothers
- Foster and stepmothers (who have performed the duties of parent)
- Grandmothers
- Daughters
- Granddaughters
- Foster and stepdaughters (who attained that status prior to age 16 and for whom the duties of parent were performed)
- Sisters, half sisters, foster and stepsisters (who attained that status prior to age 16)
